Yamaha YZR 250 is a motorcycle racing the house Yamaha Motor , which debuted in the 250cc class of the World Championship in 1986 .
The bike was founded in 1986, marking the official return of the Yamaha 250cc class, after more than a decade in which the House had been represented only by "production racers" Yamaha TZ 250 mostly entrusted to private pilots. The engine is a V-twin of 60 ° with double crankshaft. In 1987 it is developed the V engine of 90 ° with a single crankshaft.
