I finally finished my TLR in time for the nice weather. After about 8 hrs in my home made spraybooth, first time with a real spray gun, wet sand then buff. Then the decals. Well? Be nice.

rifleman.hotmail.com - the pic is a little out of focus, the plants in the background look nice but it's hard to tell how deep the paint looks from this pic, is there still more work to do, the side cover under the seat seems to be missing.

dank.townisp.com - Rifleman; good eye, yeah the paint actually isn't all that deep in this picture. I ended up polishing it again and it now looks much deeper and has a nice shine. Let's just say it looks good till you get up real close. But it's good enough for me. Yeah the side covers are missing. I have learned to have enough room to move around the part when painting, not move the part.

rifleman.hotmail.com - ok, this is a better pic. Is that black or dark blue, looks smooth. Novice mistakes are wet sanding with out a block and getting a "wavy

dank.townisp.com - Rifleman; It's a 2003 Toyota color "Black Mica" it has very small multicolored metal flake. It looks much darker, deeper, and shinier now after I polished it. Oh yeah, up close shows a lot of my inexperience.

dank.townisp.com - Oh yeah, one more thing, He made the frame sliders for a TLR so I modified them to fit the CBR. The bar ends and spools went on no problem. I have to add the quality of his work is excellent!
