Tommy Haydon testing his new Kawsaki ZX6RR at Daytona.
The fastest 600 on thursday was Aaron Gobert on his 2003 R6, lapping at 1:51:998, next was Kurtis Roberts on his 2003 CBR600RR, lapping at 1:52:497.
The closest Kawsaki was Tommy Haydon lapping at1:54:038

kawadon.msn.com - Gobert and Roberts were blowing the chicane on those laps. There is no way a supersport 600 could run those lap times.
14-Dec-02 [Pics]
[Posts]
armorer_fox.yahoo.com - You are correct. Gobert's website said that lap was sans chicane, and that they didn't have a lap time with the chicane included because the transponder couldn't differentiate. As for Kurtis Roberts...he just sucks. Muahahahah.

hatrixlg.hotmail.com - I'm not sure but I thought Eboz was going to a different racing league, he did do a ton of WSBK's last year. Correct me if I'm wrong??

[Posts]
zphalvorsen.students.wisc.edu - He didn't announce that he was racing anywhere else, despite his participation with WSBK.

miles321.yahoo.com - Eric is supposedly racing the Over-bored ZX7rr (Near 800cc) this year. I really dont think have 1000 fours is going to make much of a difference. You can extract a lot more power from the 1000 based on CC's alone, but it doesnt necessarily mean it will lap any faster.

capitalmcz.netscape.net - according to the bostrom website ..he's signed with kawi like miles said ,,the 1000's are going to be so restricted they won't count for much ..1000's in canada's superbike class ,anything goes up to 150 hp (dyno'd at the end of a race ,they take away so many races for over hp)my guess is it will be the two bostrom bro's battling the wholeyear another kawi/rc51 battle ,but the BOSS knows the tracks ,his brother may be rusty ,,Next seson of WSBK ,SBK,GP is gonna be sick

thegoshow2002.aol.com - Actually, after three and a half days of testing at Daytona, Mat Mladin recorded the second fastest time behind of Ben Bostrom. So yes the 1000's are coming and yes they are going to kick some a**

cmck151.aol.com - aaron could rip up a track on ANYthing. he had the ballsiest move i saw of any racing last year: slid it into a corner and started losing it, so to pull out of the slide, he throttled it up and started doing a power wheelie at about 80. nothing but tire smoke through the whole thing. during the commercial breaks and race close, his was the clip they kept showing.

gobbles101.hotmail.com - Loosely? That's a negative; consider this, Honda took out a patent on the design, moreover, they denied Rossi's repeated requests to make the fairing larger for wind protection and overall comfort. For now, it's the ZX-6RR for me, when Honda builds a street goind V-5, I'll be the first to get one
