16-Feb-06 funkamonk42.hotmail.com - first this bike is not 2006 but an 02/03 R1, so just buy the stock tail and paint it yellow

Traded in the 00 R1 for this beast. Its the full powered European version and she haul booty on the German Autobahn!

17-Aug-01 glock4501.hotmail.com - you traded an r1 for this? sorry dude.
17-Aug-01 kcotterell1.excite.com - Nice trade.....
17-Aug-01 lomax20744.hotmail.com - Which one do you like best. What are YOUR opinions about the two bikes?
17-Aug-01 obnoxious_jardine.hotmail.com - YEAH, sorry you wanted to "STEP" up... whatever glock
17-Aug-01 cedarlake21.hotmail.com - That poor dealer, whats he gonna do with another r1.
17-Aug-01 crash187.hotmail.com - don't listen to 'em... hows the comfort difference between the two? thats beAUTiful paint.. my knees wont fit in the indentions on that tank though, any problems?
17-Aug-01 kcotterell1.excite.com - The paint looks bad azzzz i hear that for 2002 they are going to have this paint scheme in the states, anybody know if that's true?? Some salesman told me
17-Aug-01 sv650s_99.hotmail.com - it's about time you R1 freaks started seeing the real champion in liter class bikes
17-Aug-01 imageshowoff.yahoo.ca - Nice bike. But why would you trade it for an R1???? You must've been high....and the salesman must've been chronic for accepting.
17-Aug-01 moonmanca.aol.com - The GSXR1000 may be the best now, but it still looks too much like the 750.
17-Aug-01 sinister988.altavista.com - For all of us Americans that have the restricted version, for about $70 we can de-restrict it with a "Timing Retard Eliminator" Check out this months "Sport Rider" magazine
17-Aug-01 info.siegarts.net - restricted version? what do u mean? ... By the way :)... performance bikes magazine wrote about this colour - "great bike, but just dont buy the ugly red/silver scheme" hehehe . I think it's alright.. But still .. blue white is the rear gixer colour :)
17-Aug-01 glock4501.hotmail.com - What are you gaining with this bike? Can you honestly say that you can ride an r1 to it's limit, I seriously doubt it. I just dont get why so many riders are selling their rides for this when a large majority of them couldnt ride a 600 for all its got.
17-Aug-01 kcotterell1.excite.com - I like blue and white the best, but that's my 2 cents
17-Aug-01 sinister988.altavista.com - Sieg - The CPU or whatever it's called limits the power low in the rpm range in the first 3 gears and limits the power in the upper range in 6th gear. The peak horsepower would be the same, un;ess you dyno'd the bike in 6th gear. That's why top speed for some Gixxers is 179mph or so in the U.S. and somewhere around 185 overseas. The 2000+ 'busa has one also. The ZX-12 is restricted as well. And yes, the 2002 R1 will probably be restricted. As for Glock, I'm sure whatever this guy had before the R1 was a great bike also. If he wants a new bike, so be it. It just means there are more great used bikes out there. As for the R1 vs GSXR debate, until you guys are the ones who design and build these bikes, don't get so offended when someone likes one more than your favorite.
18-Aug-01 jeremyhelling.hotmail.com - sinister... well said.
20-Aug-01 kcotterell1.excite.com - yep
20-Aug-01 baadmotorscooter.hotmail.com - Been sick for the last few days, but here are my thoughts on all your comments. First off, the R1 is a great bike, however I DO ride the bike to its limits. I live in Germany and I can ride as fast as I like on the Autobahn. NO SPEED LIMITS in most places. The Gixxer handles like a 600, and the R1 is just hard to handle at high speeds. Ths first time I rode the big zook I almost wrecked because she turned so fast!!! If you havent riden on then your missing out! The power is way more noticable and this bike wheelies so much easier than the R1 (like the R1 ever had a problem pulling up the front tire). Glock, the reason I traded was for the better bike and it only cost me $2200 out of my pocket, if you give up a deal like that then your smoken some good stuff! I am way happy with this bike and its also nice to know you got the baddest thing on 2 wheels!
21-Aug-01 baadmotorscooter.hotmail.com - sinister, instead of buying a TRE you can make one for about $10 worth of parts. If you wanna know then go to www.gixxer.com and use the search function.
23-Aug-01 lomax20744.hotmail.com - thanks baadmotorscooter...
23-Aug-01 kcotterell1.excite.com - i love it, the color scheme is awesome!!
23-Aug-01 GSXR_1000_2001.hotmail.com - Love that colorscheme 'scoot, nice ride. Glock, you obviosly haven't ridden both if you hafta ask why...
25-Oct-01 kelone_nospam.yahoo.com - i just dont know. if the 3 gixxer brothers looked different than i can see getting one. but they all look exactly the same. and as for the blue/white ones. . .forget it. why have a bike that every 3rd person has? so much for individuality
02-Oct-02 flicky12.hotmail.com - I think you made a great trade dude, nevermine what everyone else says about it being a bad trade. Im only 16 and have a silver, black, and grey 2001 gixxer 1000 theres no other bike bettre then the gixxer 1000. You just have to put a pipe on it and get it all polished up.
16-Oct-02 xtnded.hotmail.com - 'Flicky' not bad for only being 16 ;) 'Baad' Went from a liter bike...to the leader liter bike!! Good buy!
24-May-04 svsracer.yahoo.com - Glad to hear about your bike. I am also in Germany, Ansbach. Your right the Autobahn is fun. Do you know the main difference in the Euro spec bikes? The Suzuki shop has some sweet deals right now, but I am concerned with taking her home stateside. Thanks, Ron Hope to see you fly by me.
22-Aug-04 Miss_ZX9R.hotmail.com - DAMN!!! That is a GREAT LOOKING bike !!! I like the color scheme on it better than the red/black/silver on my '02 GSX-R1000 !!! -T. in Tulsa

22-Jan-06 coalt22.hotmail.com - Very nice looking bike.
23-Jan-06 twhackjr.yahoo.com - That's beautiful! DId that come from the dealer like that?!?!? I thought the only color options for the '06 model was black, blue/black, or the LE edition that comes in yellow/white/black. I'm gonna check w/my dealer here about this color/wheel combo!
23-Jan-06 crisvsv.yahoo.com - It looks really amazing!

25-Sep-01 goatlove.msn.com - Am I the only one who gets mad at these people who f*** their bikes then claim insurance for them. Thanks for jacking up my rates, glad he's not hurt bad but wouldn't mind hearing that he could never ride again- it might save his life and would certainly save the rest of us money on insurance.
25-Sep-01 Shugga.LooseCannonExtreme.com - Loose Cannons practice shot!! LOL LOL LOL Sorry man, but only ONE person out of the 5 stunt riders and 20 extreme riders has ever looped... LOL LOL They still talk about us here! LOL
25-Sep-01 TYMBIGWORM.AOL.COM - HEY GOAT BOY IT'S NOT LIKE HE DID IT ON PURPOSE JUST TO RAISE INSURANCE!!!!!
25-Sep-01 rollinendo69.hotmail.com - yea ok there goatlove........thats a great screen name sailor........and do u think he meant to flip the bike over in the middle of nowhere?? its people like u, the ones without bikes that have to open yer mouths.

25-Sep-01 BigPerm.teamspankme.com - Big Perm BIG PERM!!!!!
25-Sep-01 jadams996.hotmail.com - I gotta agree with goatboy, this is just irresponsible. And nobody's saying he did it on purpose, but if he'd kept both wheels on the ground this would not have happened. (And I DO own a bike and pay an a$$load for insurance thanks to people like this.)
25-Sep-01 notoriouschefv.aol.com - That suck bad know the feeling
26-Sep-01 Abra_Cadabra2u.hotmail.com - Road Kill..
26-Sep-01 goatlove.msn.com - rollinendo- why would I care about insurance if I didn't have a bike? This is irresponsible and makes the rest of us look bad. How can you possibly disagree with that?
26-Sep-01 TYMBIGWORM.AOL.COM - HEY BAAAAAAA BAAAAAAA GOATLOVER HOW DOES 1 PERSON RAISE INSURANCE RATES THIS IS ONLY HIS 4TH. BIKE CRASHED IN 1 1/2 YEARS !!!!! LOL LOL LOL LOL WHY DON'T YOU GET SOME OF THOSE POINTS OFF YOU DRIVING RECORD THEN YOUR INSURANSE WILL GO DOWN DUH?!!!! :)~
26-Sep-01 Sigmaikem.hotmail.com - Darn! Screw him .... poor bike! That's an R1 for goodness sake! Kinda crude, buti am more worried about the bike. If he has the 'Joe Rocket' jacket he's ok; can't say the same for the bike though. Did i mention that was an R1?!?!?!
26-Sep-01 60calli.hotmail.com - i just experianced this last week, i was coming back from Dubuque, IA. Full Throttled it in 1st, clutched it into second, and the front end came up! next thing i know, i'm rolling across the interstate like this guy! it's no fun, now i have a peice of metal that's suppose to be an R6... i feel ya man!
27-Sep-01 gixxerdingo.starboyz.com - maybe you girls that whine and cry about HIGH insurance rates need to move elsewhere..... i dont have a gripe about paying $23 a month for my 2000 750.... if the insurance is that high, maybe you need to move elsewhere, or wait until you can afford to own a bike?!?!?!?!?!?!?!! Webmaster: I disagree. I have been riding sportbikes for more than 15 years and have noticed a definite increase during the last 2 years. In fact, my former insurance company would not insure my R1 at all due to the fact that so many have been crashed. It had nothing to do with my driving record (perfect, no tickets, no claims) but the driving records of others. So yes, people have a right to complain about idiots like this.
27-Sep-01 chiarov.iwon.com - afford to own a bike? For some of us a bike is all we can afford, anyone who lives in a big city where renting a garage can cost as much as an apartment will attest to this.
27-Sep-01 TEAMYANKME.AOL.COM - THIS GUY IS NOT AN IDIOT IT'S NOT LIKE HE TRIED TO CRASH AS A MATTER A FACT HE'S BEEN A STATE TROOPER FOR SOME TIME NOW AND I'M NOT SAYING WHERE,AND IT'S SWEET PICS LIKE THIS THAT KEEP'S THIS COOL SITE GOIN JUST LOOK AT ALL THE DOWNLOAD'S SO LET'S ALL STOP B!TCHIN !!!!!!!!!!!! CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG????? :)~
27-Sep-01 TEAMYANKME.AOL.COM - YOU WANT CHEAPER INSURANCE? IF YOU'VE GOT AN OK DRIVING RECORD TRY GEICO CYCLE GUARD THEY SAVED ME ABOUT $300. A YEAR FOR FULL ON MY TL 1000 R IF YOU'VE GOT A BAD DRIVING RECORD THEN TOOOOOO BAD THAT'S YOUR FALT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
28-Sep-01 cambridge112.freemail.nl - Webmaster: Why is this guy a idiot?? Havent we all tried a wheelie, endo, highspeed riding etc.... We buy a sportbike just fore those things, otherwise we were riding a harley. You should call all the other guy's and girls that pull wheelie's do endo's etc idiots also, Just because this guy crashes makes no difference. (this can happen to us all). Infact if you are so aganst this kind of behaviour why make money with it through this website? Webmaster: If you lack the skill to control your vehicle on a public road, you are an idiot. I am not against wheelies/stoppies/knee-dragging/etc. However, I do have problems with people who continue to turn the public against sportbikes. This is one of those people. Keep it up and we will all lose the right to ride the bike of our choice...
28-Sep-01 TYMBIGWORM.AOL.COM - I made a mistake in 1 of my comments this is his 4th bike since 1995 NOT 1 1/2 years ! MY BAD and this is the only 1 he had to get a truck to take it home !!!
28-Sep-01 LooseScrewXtreme.aol.com - That's a great shot! I can't believe how well it turned out at that speed. Glad to hear you're okay. And for all you guys who are blaming somebody else for your insurance rates, not all of us claim stunt related accidents. I just wrecked my bike for the second time this year. ANY insurance company would have totalled it, but I pay to fix it out of pocket. So quit the stereotyping!
28-Sep-01 TYMBIGWORM.AOL.COM - I'M AN IDIOT BECAUSE I RIP THROUGH THE PUBLIC ROADS LIKE A MAD MAN AND DO WHEELIES IN FRONT OF THE PO PO!!!!!! LOL LOL LOL :)~MY DOCTOR SAID I'M MENTALY UNSTABLE ON A SPORTBIKE HA HA HA HE HE HE
28-Sep-01 POSERBOYS.AOL.COM - HEY WEBMASTER: I'm not being a smart a$$ but how come we can't put up word's like sh/t a$$ or b/tch I could understand word's like F*CK / P*SSY / D*CK FACE MOTHER F*CKER or sh/t like that but we can send in nude pics of women they say those words on TV now but they don't show nudity on TV yet? WELL WHY? Webmaster: There are no nude pictures on the site. In order to comply with our new advertising contract, all content must be viewable by children.
28-Sep-01 miles321.yahoo.com - Yeah, any idiot who pulls this crap on public roads shouldn't affect my rates, BUT HE DOES. I feel worse for the bike than this moron. He'll take himself out of the equation eventually, and hopefully without injury to anyone else. Go practice in an empty parking lot
28-Sep-01 jrocks929.yahoo.com - nice how the camera was in the right place at the right time!! kinda weird ain't it??

29-Sep-01 lokey_flash.yahoo.com - It's all fun and games till someone falls off their bike. At least he haqs the protective gear. The moral of this story is to never, ever, under any circumstances let anyone say wwhhaazzzzaahhh
29-Sep-01 qulkdeath.aol.com - I don't think everyone is complaining at the fact that he crashed his bike on the street because he was messing around. What most people are saying is that if you crash you bike because you were being foolish, claim responsibility for you own mistake and don't run to the insurance company and make everyone else pay by A) Raising up insurance rates and B) Giving other responsible riders a bike image in the publics eyes
29-Sep-01 kryznic.hotmail.com - I gotta say I my first reaction was to laugh when I saw this pic, serves you right for showing off. At least you still have your health. Just another Yamaha oh well.

30-Sep-01 BigPerm.TeamYankMe.com - Big Worm... who are you kidding? You can't do 130mph wheelies... I've never even seen you wheelie. The only thing your good at is a burnout, and thats cause you weigh so much. So stop being a putz, acting like your a stunt rider, give me a break. This really is a small world isn't it?
30-Sep-01 kryznic.hotmail.com - BIGPERM......How you can even joke about your own countries misfortune is sickening, I laughed cuz the rider (you i guess) is in a precarious posistion. And your crappy Yamaha is now totatled. And NO I did not laugh when planes hit TWC, MORON! So go practice your claimed 130 MPH wheelie's ok.
30-Sep-01 tobynine9.yahoo.com - HOLY CRAP!! I hope that never happens to me or any of my riddin' buddies!
01-Oct-01 motocopter.hotmail.com - looks like this winter's project. hope you are oK.

01-Oct-01 Teamyankme.aol.com - Cant we all just get along.... But someone would like to go wheelie race for money. Bring it... Email at the web site. www.Teamyankme.homestead.com We are all here to have a good time No need to bash people, grow up. Big worm works his *ss off for us. Eric TYM
01-Oct-01 goatlove.msn.com - Just curious teamyankme, are you still claiming that this guy is a state trooper? And as far as growing up goes, lets count the juvenile comments on this page then see who's leaving 'em. Tried to go to your web site but it doesn't seem to exist.
02-Oct-01 TeamYankme.AOL.COM - Hey goat our site does exist try it again it's under construction WWW.TEAMYANKME.HOMESTEAD.COM and yes this guy is a state trooper!!!!!! :)~
04-Oct-01 TYMBIGWORM.AOL.COM - WHATEVER D.J. OR SHOULD I SAY DUANE Mr. I DON'T WANNA NEW BIKE BECAUSE MY GIRL WON'T LET ME HAVE 1 !!!! :(~
04-Oct-01 borntoridewjk.yahoo.com - This guy didn't raise any rates we all do, everybody crashes at least once. There is 2 kinds of riders ones that have falen and ones that are going to fall.
15-Oct-01 entropykiller.hotmail.com - To all you guys who live for wheelies....this picture is your mirror. It's not worth you skin, meat, life, or bike. You will all eventually look like this one day or another...an you'll never want to go there again. Trust me. But, do as you please.
07-Dec-01 ih82lose40.aol.com - hello everyone my name is NicelyDone and i ride extreme, let me first say that i have eaten it pretty bad, 3 times but only once doing a wheelie and it was caused by someone trying to cross the road while i was in the wheelie. Alot of you make great POINTS about insurance and stupidity, but you all have to have something that you enjoy doing so much that you cant stop doing it, weither it be a race car driver, a gambler, a sex phonatic, what ever it is, if you enjoy doing something why should you stop, yes its bad for your health and no im not going to realy find a great way to put this but isnt eveything dangerous i mean driving your car, walking , eating , drinking ,isnt everything bad. Well im getting to the point that yes im almost done being dangerous tomyself and others on a bike, but for those of you out there that ride wheelies, tricks stopies what ever we all no the same thing that its dangerous but hey we live once dont regret...im not i love tricken and so should you if you want it...NicelyDone Productions. im out.
27-Dec-01 sspencer.chartermi.net - I,m glad you are all right, keep wearing the LID!!!!!!!!!!!!!
14-Jan-02 DXLR8.aol.com - Feel for ya! Been there and done that! Just wasnt lucky enough to have pictures or video!
10-Jun-02 honda_f2.hotmail.com - The people who are complaining about high insurance costs need to switch to a different company. I am paying $200/yr US for FULL coverage under State Farm. I have a 1992 CBR600 and I am 17 years old. I admit the bike is not worth as much as a new R1 or others, but the difference shouldn't be that much. Plus, I just got my license. Everyone should give State Farm a call. I called Progressive and they wanted to charge me $2000/yr for liability insurance only. What a difference!!! The reason State Farm is so cheap is that they regard a motorcycle as only a weekend toy. Plus, you need to have a car insured under them to get the package. Even with a car insured, the cost for both vehicles is way under what most companies charge for the motorcycle along. Webmaster: I also have State Farm insurance for my motorcycle (2000 R1). I've been riding for 18 years with no accidents, tickets, or claims. State Farm insurance was willing to give me full coverage for 10% of what the other insurance companies offered. However, what happens once State Farm starts loosing money on motorcycle policies like every other insurance company has? They won't leave it at those prices for much longer.
11-Jun-02 morgan2514.hotmail.com - ok, check this out. Webmaster I also have state farm insurance and yes it is a fraction of what other places charge. And I to have a perfect driving record. But most companies do not loose money on motorcycle policies, they are just greedy. I have a few frinds in the insurance world. They all state the same thing. They charge alot because people pay alot. Yes motorcycles do rwreck more often than cars and yes those wrecks often have a worse outcome, but the percent of riders increase every year by a large amount, yet insurance does not decrease. And another thing most people do not think about is that most car drivers wth full coverage will report any finder bender, but motorcyclist often do not report many accidents due to either a fear of increased prices of fear of a police intervention.
16-Jun-02 steve.cyclenet.ca - I bought a new VFR.. I have tried a few little wheelies, but you know? I'm gonna buy a dirt bike for that and keep both my VFR wheels on the ground. If we all did that insurance would be cheap now! So, if you friggers want to pull wheelies, fine, but don't go crying to your insurance company for money!
23-Jun-02 wileymichael26.hotmail.com - Nice Crash, would like to see what he was trying to do in the first place
13-Feb-03 rogers8mile.yahoo.com - THERE MUST BE A GIANT MAGNET ON THE LEFT HIDING IN THE BUSHES
24-Mar-03 ryankilner.totalise.co.uk - does he not want that bike
18-Jul-03 giancarlo.notchryders.com - dang, ouch
16-Dec-03 henglong88.yahoo.com - looks like matrix shooting back with two guns..your legs okay?
05-Jan-04 aussiegsxr600.hotmail.com - Is that a brown stain on your white pants?
06-Jan-04 rosscw081.comcast.net - This guy is a State Trooper? Well did he issue himself tickets for reckless driving, reckless endangerment, speeding, exhibitation a speed, ect.? If not, why? I'd also like to know how this Trooper explained his lack of good judgment to both his insurance company and his BOSS! If he didn't, why? I'll even bet his health insurance covered any medical expenses, AND if he stayed home cause he couldn't perform his normal Trooper duties do to any injuries related to this he was still getting paid! Did he? Why? All this supports what a few of us are alittle p*ssed off about! So for the Knuckle Heads out there who fail to grasp the true facts! This not only affects everyones vehicle insurance rates, but also increases everyones medical insurance rates, health care costs, DMV rates, and both state and local taxes! Any takers to prove me wrong? As a fellow rider I'm glad the Trooper was not seriously injured or killed, however his lack of judgment along with thousands of others IS a huge part in rising costs of insurance, DMV fees, and taxes!
01-Aug-04 ShannonFLHI.yahoo.com - THIS DOESN'T TO COOL. OH WELL, NEXT TIME LEARN ON A DIRT BIKE FIRST.
02-Aug-04 malemute2156.yahoo.com - it is a dirt bike, now. lol
02-Aug-04 larsonlivestock.hotmail.com - I don't know what your insurnance is doing to you but my zx7 liability is 93 dollars a year at progressive
30-Aug-04 aood74.dsl.pipex.com - I don't understand how you can say "this guy's not an idiot, he's a state trooper". Why can't a state trooper be an idiot? I am in the military and I get tired of people comparing state troopers to the military or other honorable jobs. There is nothing honorable about passing out tickets all day. State troopers are just ticket jockey's, not "real" cops. Any idiot could pass out tickets and set up speed traps all day!

10-Oct-02 djzplace.attbi.com - I dont like the Telefonica at all. There are way to many of them here in Colorado
10-Oct-02 Chrome_GsxR1.hotmail.com - Natervetter@hotmail.com = I don't know what part of the world you live in but if you can buy a house with more than 2 rooms for $7,500 bucks then tell me where there at I WILL TRADE YOU THE 600 FOR IT cause over here in SF Cali you would be lucky to find a studio or one bedroom home, condo, cottage or even a chicken shack for the price of a bike or 10 bikes at that ?
10-Oct-02 ebernal.pillsburywinthrop.com - I ride with Chrome_gixxer and that 1000 is no joke. As for the house, I want to know were you can get one for $8,5009 ($GSXR 600$) and have it not be on wheels.
